I’m sure plenty of the people who read this are already aware of the existence of my website and are more-than-likely wondering why I’m only introducing it now.
My website has been through the mill. It started out as an area to collect and display all the god-awful poetry I used to write (that was a bad phase and all my poetry remains totally unpublished now and in the depths of my laptop somewhere), then it became my portfolio of writing-related work for employers and lately it’s transitioned into something that works for me. Not only do I wish for my website to act as a portfolio, but I want to be able to share my creativity and to truly connect with those who take the time to read what I make public.
If you gander at my website at the time of posting this, it’s empty. And that’s because my website is going through some changes again. I’ve never taken my website seriously or given it, and my readers, the love that they deserve. In order to keep my website pristine and full of the content I love to share – portfolio work AND blog-like posts – I’m only sharing the content which I am most proud of and formatting my website better for myself, my readers and my employers.
My website is going to feature a more professional but personal look, the menu is going to be easier to navigate and my social media is going to see a whole lot more of me shamelessly sharing my posts.
It’s likely that over this following week, there’ll be an influx of posts due to my dire need to share refined versions of what I’ve previously written – I apologise in advance for this. In the meantime, between these posts, I hope that everyone who visits my website will find something in which they have an interest in.
